Garden of Sacred Tones
The exploration of a human scale instrument led to the conception of this maze of wind chimes. Over 3,500 pieces of varied lengths of metal compose this tactile installation that once occupied an entire garden. Overtones were not created by passing wind but by the active user, carving a path throughout, generating their own song of passage.
Enjoy sounds from The Garden of Sacred Tones. An installation created by
Moral Turgeman at Hotel Nomade in Tulum, Mexico. The garden boasts over
3,500 custom made metal wind chimes. A tactile experience takes you on a
journey in self created sound.
