Bringing Color to the Black Sea

The Color Brings Life Artist Residency was an invitation to create a series of public interventions for the small seaside town of Alushta on the shores of the Black Sea.

A global call for artists drew emerging talent across mediums, tasked with reimagining nine lifeguard towers as beacons of inspiration for the community. The result went far beyond color, sparking critical dialogue around the importance of identity and individuality.

WE PUT OUT A GLOBAL CALL FOR ARTISTS FROM ALL MEDIUMS

A curation of artists each from a different country come together as an opportunity to
spark critical dialogue and inspire the community of crimea.
